Sizing and how to get the perfect fit

Here at Living Silk, the majority of our garments are made with pure silk—a fabric which is classic, elegant and suitable for all seasons, as it is cool to wear in Spring - Summer and warm for Fall - Winter.  

Silk is perfect for event dressing and special occasions because of its subtle shine, luxurious feel, and flattering fit - perfect for a mother of the bride or groom for a beach, garden, rustic, country, cocktail or formal wedding.  

Our pure silk fabrics are hand woven and hand dyed for optimum quality and colour. They are then carefully crafted into elegant event wear for your special occasion.  

Our ever-popular Pure Silk Classic Wrap Shirts and Wrap Dresses are true wrap pieces, being quite generous in the fabric. There are no zips or buttons, so you can mould them to your body—wrapping them as tight or as loose as you like. Our Classic Wrap Shirts come in two varieties: block silk or sheer silk organza (the latter comes with a camisole). 

Our most popular pure silk skirts (Cocktail, Pansy and Bohemian) are sewn in panels to create an elegant flowing movement when you walk. They sit below the knees, either at your mid-calf, tea length or ankle length, so you can easily show off your shoes as part of your outfit.

If you find yourself outside of the scope of our general sizing, we have a made to measure service where we can alter pieces to fit you just right. Simply choose an outfit, take your measurements following our measurement chart, order the outfit using the CUSTOM icon - It's that easy!
